The Girls’ Room

on May 17, 2012

Door, and to the right.

…which became Ally’s side of the room, and cubby.

The big window…

…and wooden step underneath.

It still needs trim, but is now a lovely place for two of our rocking chairs.

The old closet ended at this bare nook – 17 inches from the window wall.

….and there’s another one on the opposite side!

We made better use of those by installing small clothes rods and hanging up their clothes! Ally’s on her side…

…and Kira’s on her side!

Then there was Kira’s side of the room.

Much better!

And the light switch wall, to the left of the door.

Dresser and red shelf space.

Also, the nook on Kira’s side of the room had a big hole in the wall, so it was turned into a bookshelf!
